I never thought I'd say this about any commercial ever, but it's happening. I want this spot to have a voice over. Why would I want to read your commercial? Tell me a story!
Maybe GE assumes many will see this commercial in a venue like the Bulldog during a Twins game and the only way they can effectively communicate is through text. Wanting more from a brand isn't all bad.
I (gasp!) agree. Not only because I think it would add a little personality to the add, but also because of the plain fact that the white text appears over white backgrounds in the commercial too often to be easily read. Bleh.
