Sprint's Widgets
Please tell me someone else has seen this site. If not, go play now. I learned the wonders of this widget-filled playground from someone at the office.
Learn how much money is being spent online at the moment, how many bicycles are being produced worldwide or how many cases of malaria are spawning (ok that one is gross). Although the last thing I need is another mindless site to occupy my otherwise busy days (yep-there is a different puppy cam on this site) I still love a good find like this one. This however does not make me want to switch Sprint. Cool site never trumps crappy service. Sorry GS&P.
What do you think? While waiting for your comments I'll be busy tracking the number of people getting stuck in elavators.

Whoa, that blew my mind. Another great procrastination tool, but I agree that cool site doesn't trump crappy service.
Interesting point about the cool tool still not changing your perspective of the product. Nothing kills a bad product like good advertising...hopefully Sprint won't get to that point and will instead fix their offerings.
I think its also interesting that both you and Susan noticed it as a way to waste time, where the idea of "Now" and the product itself in theory is supposed to encourage you to get the stuff you need (internet/info/access) while on the go--not exactly a case of needing to pass the time. I was frustrated that it didn't seem that very many of the widgets actually added any value to me--so why would I waste my time and money? (especially when the other puppy cam is waaaaay better)

I find it somewhat ironic they have their CEO on TV touting their new simple one-payment-covers-it-all plan and they send out this maze of a widget. While it's a novelty to look at for about 10 minutes, it does nothing to reinforce the brand. Oh, the brand. I know it's around here someplace........
